150 riders and 5 wagons participated in this year's 'Charity Ride', organised by the Fish River Trail Horse Riders and Drivers Association, held on Saturday 12 November.
The 30 km route around the O'Connell district passed through several properties - with the permission and support of owners - minimising the time spent on public roads and allowing participants to experience some of the lesser seen country and views in the area.
The ride and lunch was followed by an Auction night at the O'Connell Pub. All monies raised will go to feed and care of the Bathurst RDA's working horses and to provide equipment and opportunities for it's students.
