Our trip to Adelaide was fun. We toured around all our old haunts. Adelaide has changed a lot since we lived there! They seem to be vying for the honour of most outdoor cafes!! The inner cityscape has really changed since we worked there (over 20 years ago can you believe!). We drove by the first school I taught at, drove around the block twice, checked our maps! It was gone!! Now a housing development! Apparently sold off for a huge amount by the Dept of Education!
We visited Sharon and Chris, Sat arvo, they had many questions from us about their new kitchen! They had lots of ideas we would like to use!
Dinner with Winsome was great. Happy 70th Wiz!!
On Sunday we did a winery tour of the Hills area with John and Trish – all these wineries have sprung up! The closest wineries when we lived there were the Southern Vales! The Hills area has really changed, hardly recognized it!
We drove by the 2 homes we built in Adelaide, both have fared well. The Vincent Blvd one seemed to still have the same plants we planted, only bigger!
