He is a lot more active now, eating lots and has long flying exercises.
He turned up at our place a couple of months ago when he 'fell' down Karen's chimney. We asked the Uni of New England (they are studying microbats) what we should do. They said if we could, to try and keep him, wake him up once a week and feed him and
exercise him! When the weather gets warmer, we can release him, so that is what we have been doing! He has escaped twice in our houses, he spend 1 week behind the kitchen cupboards early in the piece. Last week, Karen was awoken by these fluttering noises and air swishing past her face. the bat was trying to wake her up for a feed! Suitably fed, he was put back to bed!!

Karen is still recovering! She was reading a book on vampires at the time!
