Christmas

We had all the family (or at least the non travellers!) at our place for Christmas. Everyone arrived Christmas Eve in time for Mel's birthday. A bit hard to believe she is 25 this year!


The church goers went to the Christmas morning service at Oberon, it was a 8am start! We then had brunch and talked via video phone with Kylie! That was fairly exciting! We only talked to Kylie because the rest of the host family was getting ready for their dinner (the main Chrismas dinner in Argentina is on Christmas eve and starts at about 11pm! Later that day (3pm our time) we again talked to Kylie and the rest of the host family (after their dinner and before our late lunch!) - her host family got to see how Aussies celebrate Xmas! Grant and Naomi had to leave early Boxing day becuase Naomi had to start work at 2pm! It was fairly hot, so everyone didn't do much, but a few of us managed a walk along the Fish river looking for good fishing spots for next time!
